Betty Lou Huffman, 67, residing at 2414 W. Calvert, South Bend, Ind., passed away Wednesday, September 17, at her home.
Mrs. Huffman was a homemaker, born on Feb. 25, 1930, in McLeansboro, Ill., to the late Irving and Lela Redshaw. She had lived in the South Bend area since 1976, coming from Illinois.
On June 10, 1956, in Clinton, Ill., she married Merle Huffman, who preceded her in death on Feb. 10, 1972.
In September 1975, in South Bend, she married Edward Huffman, who also preceded her in death in 1982.
She is survived by two daughters, Jean Kati of South Bend and Lois Turner of McNeal, Ariz.; three sons, Kent Eutsey of Streator, III., Michael Barrett of Evergreen Park, III., and Russell Johnson of Hudson, Fla.; and by four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday at the Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend.
Rev. Steve Cox, pastor of the Cornerstone Community Church, LaPaz, Ind., will officiate.
Burial will take place at a later date in McLeansboro, Ill.
Friends may call from 2 tp 6 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation; to the American Diabetes Association; or to the Harbour Light Hospice, 500 W. Lincoln highway, Merrillville, IN 46410
