HALL, Beverley Jane (nee Macaulay) Peacefully passed, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Monday, May 28, 2012 in her 73rd year. Beloved wife of Jim for 50 years. Wonderful mother of Jamie and Meghan, Jennifer, Andrew and Katie and Monica and Steve. Loved by her grandchildren, Sophie, Kane, Isabel, Sadie, Gabriel and a new grandson on the way. Cherished sister of Anne and Paul Miller, Lois and Al Magee, Ruthe Macaulay and Bill Oprel, Don Macaulay and Susan Cullis, Jessie and Chuck Wilson. Fondly remembered by her aunt Dorothy Kerr-Adamson, extended family, friends and neighbours. Predeceased by her parents Robert John and Agnes Goldie Macaulay. Born in Galt, February 24, 1940, and raised in Owen Sound. A career nurse, Jane trained at the South Waterloo Memorial Hospital (now Cambridge Memorial Hospital), graduating with the Class of '61. A long-time member of First United Church and Beta Sigma Phi. The family will receive friends at Coutts Funeral Home , 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge, Thursday, May 31, 2012, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at First United Church, 15 Wellington St., Cambridge on Friday, June 1, 2012 at 1 p.m. Interment at Parklawn Cemetery. Jane lived the last eight years of her life as a determined survivor of a stroke. Her devoted husband, Jim, worked tirelessly to ensure her care, comfort and independence at home. Sincere appreciation to the team of personal support workers and community assistants for their care and to the 5th floor nursing team at CMH for their compassion and professionalism through these past five months. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
