Major League Baseball Player. Born in Palestine, Texas, he was a second baseman and a outfielder making his debut for the Boston Braves on September 13, 1913. For six seasons, he played for the Boston Braves (1913-14, 1920) and the Philadelphia Phillies (1915-17). Used mostly as a utility player, he ended his career with a record of 54 hits, 45 runs scored, 1 home run, 20 runs batted in and a .194 batting average. He died at age 78 in Dallas, Texas.
