Andy, what can I say, you put your heart and soul into sheriff Andy Taylor, and whenever I watch the show, a city girl is transformed, lay back kick your feet up, and visit Aunt bee, Opie, Floyd, and all the gang in Mayberry, I wanted to be invited for supper, and sample Aunt bee's cooking. When you grabbed that guitar and sang all was right in the world. You could not help but picture a clear summer night stars bright, and all the right sounds around you. I truly believe you left North Carolina, but it never left you. I enjoyed other things you starred in but Andy captured my heart. One thing I noticed looking now, one season then would be three now. Thanks for the laughter, joy, and good home hospitality. Rest In Peace.

May the Lord bless and keep you always, Andy! You are missed and loved. I'm so happy that you shared your talent with us for so many years - we'll be watching Sheriff Andy Taylor forever! Tho you had health issues, I'm thankful that your wife, Cindi, was such a devoted caretaker. Be at rest, Andy - Job well done!

We all cannot thank you and the writers, producers, sponsors, workers, and actors enough for what you all gave us with The Andy Griffith Show and others. It is still to this day a true a gift to the world, if a television show can be such a thing. It portrayed America as it was and still should be, if everyone gave up the worship of themselves. It's why the show still airs, with a scant few others, and all the rest are long gone and forgotten. We will never forget you all; thank you, and God bless you all. We hope to meet you all one Sunny day.

Thank you for all the years you entertained us. I am enjoying Matlock and my husband the Andy Taylor-Mayberry shows. You were just grand in all of your performances because you were so humble & relatable. One fact that had escaped me was that you had a child (a son). I never knew you had any children--except for little Opie. You certainly raised him right!!! Love & God Bless you, Andy. Rest in Heavenly Peace. A FAN.
