The death certificate states birth place as Shippensburg. The obituaries both state near Shippensburg. She would have been born in a surrounding township. The place of birth field only reflects Pennsylvania because the Shippensburg borough and surrounding area is in two counties, Franklin and Cumberland, and neither the death certificate or the obituary states in which county she was born.
