Obituary:
William Brammer, Ninety yrs. old, Civil War veteran, native and widely known resident of Lawrence county, O., died at 4:45 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ada Hawthorn, at Kenova. Mr. Brammer had made his home at Proctorville until last May when he moved to his daughter's home. He served three years in the United army army and was captured and confined three months in a confederate prison camp. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at Union Chapel, near Proctorville.

William Brammer

William Brammer, Ninety yrs. old, Civil War veteran, native and widely known resident of Lawrence county, O., died at 4:45 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ada Hawthorn, at Kenova. Mr. Brammer had made his home at Proctorville until last May when he moved to his daughter's home.

He served three years in the United army army and was captured and confined three months in a confederate prison camp.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at Union Chapel, near Proctorville. Burial will be at the McCormick cemetery. He leaves the widow; three daughters, Mrs. Ada Hawthorn, Mrs. Laura Hawthorn, Greasy Ridge, and Mrs. Kate Pemberton, North Kenova, O.; three sons, Thomas Brammer, Crown City; Albert Brammer of Illinois and Elmer E. Brammer, Huntington; two brothers, J. F. Brammer, St. Mary's, W. Va. and Henry Brammer Watsworth, Ill.; 30 grandchildren, ? great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
