Lillian B. Fudge

Lillian Fox, daughter of Samuel and Rachel Fox, was born in rural Elk County near Howard on November 22, 1888, and passed away November 13, 1970 in Greenwood County Hospital.

She was married to George A. Fudge in Eureka, Kansas January 22, 1907 and they made their home on a farm south of Piedmont, Kansas. During thier married life they farmed north of Fall River, then just east of Eureka, as well as the farm near Piedmont.

Mrs. Fudge moved to Eureka to live after the death of her husband in January 1954 where she lived until her health failed and she entered a rest home.

Surivivors include two daughters, Beatrice Cloyd of Eureka and Faye long of Mule Shoe, Texas; three sons, Homer of Fredonia, Stanley of Columbus, O. and Dale of Ford, Kansas; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-granchildren.

Funeral services were conducted from Campbell Funeral Home on November 16 at 10 a.m. with burial in Twin Grove Cemetery, Severy.
