Flowers left for Carroll Shelby
1964, When I was 16, my Mom drove my sister and I from Ft. Lauderdale through a driving rain to Sebring. We witnessed the 12 hour race when your Team Cobra put the hurt on Enzo Ferrari and his boys. Raw American horsepower in a light English body . . . pure genius! Thank you for fond memories, and dreams. America was blessed with you, Carroll, and we will never see the likes of you again. R.I.P.
