Genealogy is a passion of mine. I've been at it for over 20 years. I thoroughly enjoy the investigative hours of pleasure that it brings. I am the "Family Historian" for my own family and have over 20 binders of family information and filing cabinets and boxes of research papers. I also a member of the Benton County Cemetery Preservation Group, Inc. of Benton County, Arkansas and the newly formed Washington County (Arkansas)Cemetery Preservation Group. Finding burial places poses a problem for researchers if their ancestors did not have a stone. That's why Findagrave is so wonderful. You can post where a loved one is buried and help the next researcher out in finding them. A great way to help out your fellow researchers. I also photograph tombstones in my area and am a volunteer for the Arkansas Gravestone Organization, Oklahoma Gravestones Organization, Missouri Gravestone Organization, Kansas Gravestone Organization, Tennessee Gravestone Organization and can photograph stones for Washington, Benton, and Madison counties in Arkansas, Adair, Cherokee, and Delaware counties in Oklahoma, Henderson Co., KY and McDonald Co., Missouri. Please send me your requests. I may already have your photos in my extensive collection. If I don't, I will go out and try to fulfill your request. Thanks!
