The end of a poem written by an old man who had to spend his golden years in a rest home
this is my inspiration to keep going and stay busy.
May I go standing on my feet with dignity still able to think and walk.

A Crabby Old Man

And now and again .......my battered heart swells.
I remember the joys.............. I remember the pain.
And I'm loving and living.............life over again.

I think of the years ...all too few......gone too fast.
And accept the stark fact........that nothing can last.
So open your eyes, people .........open and see..
Not a crabby old man. Look closer....see........ME!!

I am a retired carpenter,farmer and proud to call my self a Jack of all Trades.

I plant a large garden on my small farm and enjoy the fresh fruit and vegetables that i get for my work.We raise enough produce for canning and have some left over to sell at the local farmers market

Photography has always interested me but I never had the time nor money to pursue it till the Digital camera came out. I have a lot to learn
as my pictures are far from perfect but i am trying
I process the pictures mostly in the winter time and spend my spare time in the summer visiting cemeteries here in Central WV and it is good to know my time is not wasted when I am able to find and photograph a memorial requested by friends or relatives.
