Most of my ancestry is American, from both sides of my father's family and that of my maternal grandmother.When I found 'Findagrave', I thought it a great way to pay tribute to my grandparents & greats, by listing them and giving them flowers!

My brother,James Eli Clark III born June 17,1927, Burns OR died Sept 18,1945 BC: my father James Eli Clark Jr born Oct 5,1907 Grant Co OR died Sept 28,1991,Quesnel,BC; my grandfather James Eli Clark Sr born June 29 1868 Laramie,WY died Aug 15 1949 Burns Lake BC and great grandmother,Mary Ellen (Phelps,Peters,Clark)Morrison born Aug 5 1845 Rock Co.WI died Oct 21 1931 Wistaria BC. My maternal grandmother May Aret (Griffin,Morgan) McGrane born July 7 1890 Palouse, Whitman Co.WA died Mar 5 1975 Burns Lake BC. My maternal grandfather's family (Morgan & Fitzmaurice)arrived from Ireland in 1873 to Renfrew, ON. Two generations are buried in ON & two in B.C.
My American father, James Eli Clark Jr came to Canada in 1929; he and my mother, Marion Ethel Morgan were married in Burns Lake, B.C. in 1933.They are both gone now and I & my siblings are the older generation. I have been tracing my families for over 30 years; it's such fun now with computers and the Internet!
