Fallen Graver

Sadly, Barbara A. in CA has passed away. Please consider visiting their Find a Grave memorial page and leaving some virtual flowers. Their enthusiasm for cemeteries and willingness to help future generations lives on through their contributions to Find a Grave.

Bio

I love genealogy and am attempting to locate and link all of our family members and any others that I come across on findagrave.com. Also tryng to add photos, vital records, census records and any other family photos that someone might enjoy.

Please use the edit tab to make suggestions for edits. Thank you.

"Genealogy begins as an interest, then genealogy becomes a hobby, genealogy continues as an advocation, and in the last stages genealogy is an incurable disease."

I would like to thank all the people that have put my family on findagrave and have been kind enough to transfer my family memorials to me for management. Corrections are welcomed. Please use the edit tab on the memorial for suggestions.

If you copy pictures, markers or obituaries, etc. from my memorials, it is much appreciated and expected to include my memorial and findagrave name and number as the source.

"The Chosen"

We are the chosen. In each family there is one (or more) who seems called to find the ancestors. To put flesh on their bones and make them live again. To tell the family story and to feel that somehow they know and approve. Doing genealogy is not a cold gathering of facts but, instead, breathing life into all who have gone before. We are the story tellers of the tribe. All tribes (hopefully) have at least one. We have been called, as it were, by our genes. Those who have gone before cry out to us: Tell our story. So, we do. In finding them, we somehow find ourselves.
