****NOTICE****: MY COMPUTER WAS STOLEN ON LAST AUGUST. I HAVE NO MEANS TO CONNECT TO THE INTERNET. THANKS TO ALL THE PEOPLE WHO VISITED/LEFT MESSAGES --VERY SORRY I CAN'T VISIT MY FRIENDS --HOPE I SAVE ENOUGH TO BUY A NEW ONE AND CAN COME BACK SOON -TAKE CARE, HUGS TO EVERYBODY****

Hi, my name is Libertad (meaning "Liberty") and I am from Europe. I don't see much from my country (Spain) here, but cementeries here are different as they are Mediterranean styled. Anyway I like all of them wherever they are specially because of what they mean. I try to visit as much as I can, and when not possible I pay a virtual visit.

Sometimes I am so busy that I can't come here as often as I would like. Anyway, I'll try to do my best. I love genealogy but here in Spain people is no so fond of searching their roots as in the USA --and besides there's no need to find our roots, as families grow closer and we know all our relatives. Also, most of us are 100% Spanish for centuries so it means we don't have a different origin from another countries.

Thanks to all the people who visit or will visit the memorials I've created/will create, MANY THANKS TO THE PEOPLE WHO SPONSOR/WILL SPONSOR MY MEMORIALS, and excuse me if I don't/forget/am not able to pay a visit in return, and please excuse for my bad English, as I am not a native English speaker.

My photo is a picture that I like, "Elaine or the Lily Maid of Astolat", by Sophie Anderson (1870). It depicts the sorrow of a man for a dead girl.
