Bio

I am currently the president of the Logan County Genealogical Society. We are working on redoing our cemetery books that were written in the early 1980's. If you are local and might be interested in walking and recording a cemetery, please contact me.

I am involved in several volunteer activites as well as working part time. Please forgive me if I don't thank you immediately for filling one of my requests. But know that I am very grateful for everyone that takes the time to find and photograph one of my ancestors headstones. I know the time and work involved. If I have fulfilled a request for you and you thanked me, know that I enjoying walking the cemeteries, taking the photos and knowing that I am helping someone else research their family. I will acknowledge your thanks as soon as possible as I am working an emails from several months ago.

Many of the memorials I have set up are as a result of recording the cemeteries and not because they are related to me. If I have a memorial of your family member, ask and I will transfer it as long as they are not related to my husband or myself. Again, please give me time.

I would like to give a great big Thank You to the sextons of Greenwood Cemetery-Degraff, Fairview Cemetery-West Liberty, Bellefontaine Cemetery-Bellefontaine, and all the staff at Jennings-Farley Funeral Home/Highland Memorial Gardens-West Liberty. Because of these wonderful, helpful people, I have a fun time volunteering for Find-A-Grave. They all make my search for the requested headstones very simple.
Families I am researching include: Stayrook/Wren, Allison/Easton, Dawson/Wilson (from Canada) and Lindsey/Aiken.
