"And when they ask us what we're doing, you can say 'We're remembering.'" -- Ray Bradbury in Fahrenheit 451

Please visit the Split Rock Memorial and leave a flower for the men killed in that explosion 106 years ago.

A special thank you to Tom C. for supplying information on Oakwood Cemetery residents. We worked together to enter every name from the cemetery records through March 2018 and to photograph each and every one of them. If we could not find a marker we noted in each memorial that there was "NO GRAVE MARKER" so you don't have to wonder. Thanks Tom!

Thanks to all of you who have sent edits and caught my mistakes. I want to be as accurate as possible and you help me do that.

In addition to Oakwood Cemetery Syracuse (as of summer 2018) I have completely photographed:

Apulia Cemetery as of June 2011
Berwyn Cemetery as of Nov 2020
Blackmer Cemetery as of October 2017
Browning Cemetery as of July 2020
Cedarvale Cemetery as of June 2010
Clearview Cemetery as of October 2013
Fayette County Cemetery as of January 2019
Fellows Cemetery as of August 2016
Fox Cemetery as of August 2019
Hillsdale Cemetery as of Aug 2013
Lodi Cemetery as of June 2013
Maple Grove Cemetery as of October 2019
Myrtle Grove Cemetery as of April 2014
Myrtle Hill Cemetery as of October 2017
New Bridgeport Cemetery as of September 2018
Oakwood Cemetery Chittenango as of April 2023
Old Tully Cemetery as of Sept 2012
Onondaga Valley Cemetery ongoing
Orville Cemetery as of August 2010
Pine Plains Cemetery as of summer 2017
Quaker Cemetery as of August 2012
Ridge Road Cemetery as of June 2021
Rose Hill Cemetery as of 2012
Saint John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Cemetery as of August 2016
Tyre Cemetery as of June 2021
Webb Cemetery as of June 2020

I would be happy to transfer anyone, other than family, to you. I want to see them with family and friends that love them and can take care of the memorials. Just contact me. And you are very welcome to use my marker photos in your family tree without asking, but my curiosity would like to know which ones are being used.
