Update: I am sorry if I haven't answered everyone's questions over the last two years as I have been very involved in my health care profession with battling COVID. I'll try to circle back to your questions and have cleared all my edits out several times over the past two years; I just have not had time for the research questions. Be WELL everyone and good luck in your genealogy endeavors.

Hello, if you are a distant cousin & good luck; either way, your help is appreciated in providing information to our past, current and future kinships. Warm regards & God-Speed.

I was born in Natchez, Ms & attribute this family tree bug to an 8th grade history teacher who assigned me a project to collect 3 generations of my family. With the help of a dear grandmother (the only grandparent I ever knew) the project was completed & a new phase of our relationship began. She joined in my pursuit of better understanding my/our past for 20 years & I fondly remember how she got excited at every new discovery of her family roots; I continue in her memory.

I retired from the Navy Submarine Force as a Master Chief Machinist Mate Weapons (Torpedoman) & did a tour as a Chief of the Boat. My wife of 35 years is a Navy Veteran, our oldest son is a Marine Corp Veteran, & our youngest son is a Navy Veteran.

On my paternal side I research the Arnold & Freeman Families & the family surnames they married in Franklin/Amite/Lincoln/Pike/Adams Counties, Ms. On my maternal side I research the Verbeck/Walker/Dungan/White Families of George/Jackson Counties Ms. & Clarke/Mobile Counties Al.

If you have a correction, addition, or request a transfer please give me the Find A Grave Memorial # (FAGM#)& or the relationship to you by using the Send A Correction form on the memorial. Please add any additional information you have for that memorial, such as FAGM# links to parents, children, siblings, spouses & grandparents.

Send an e-mail to my personal account if you have a lot of information as an attachment. Please provide the Name of the person & FAGM# if they have one in the subject line.

Though I retired from one job I still work full time so please bear with me and I will try to answer your request in a timely manner.

If you see something on a memorial you do not agree with please understand the information was probably provided by a family member and or is part of public record; newspapers, court records, etc. The intent is to honor your/our loved ones and to provide information that will help future generations better understand their families & lineage. Warm regards, Rodney
