I'm a middle school English teacher that spends "spare" time conducting genealogical research. I have spent lots of time in the Forest Hill and Laurel Hill cemeteries, but recently focused most of my efforts at St. Bernard's and St. Joseph's.

Please feel free to use photos that I take for whatever purpose you choose. However, any and all photos must include proper source information in the citation. This allows other researchers to maintain the integrity of the research process.

I often have additional and/or higher quality images, and sometimes additional information, for many of the memorials. Please contact me if interested.

Please note that although I strive to take the best possible quality photos, I occasionally upload pictures that I plan to replace in the future.

I generally create memorials with the same spelling used on the marker, when one exists. Additional information, such as names of parents, also utilize information/spelling as seen on the primary sources.

Several gravestones at Laurel Hill no longer stand where they were first erected. Several factors, including erosion and vandalism, have led to these stones being placed in seemingly random locations. I try to document both where these stones are now, and where they should be.
