Bio

My fascination with cemeteries began when I was on active duty in the United States Army. I'm a trumpet player and served as an Army Bandsman for twenty years. During that time I performed Taps at military funerals on more occasions than I can remember.

While waiting for the funeral procession to arrive I would spend as much time as possible walking through the cemetery reading tombstones. It proved to be a very interesting way to pass the time. Now that I'm a member of the Find A Grave community I can put that interest to good use.

I've either created or manage all memorials for my immediate family, so my focus at this point is creating memorials for others and fulfilling as many local photo requests as possible.
