Heather Graham, 64, Angel Street, Westville formerly of Scotsburn, passed away Friday, April 1 in the Q.E.II Health Science Centre, Halifax.

Born and raised in River John, she was a daughter of the late James and Effie (Forbes) Rae. Heather was a Registered Nurse graduating from the Aberdeen School of Nursing in 1967. She continued with her nursing career at the Aberdeen Hospital until her retirement in 1998. Following her retirement from the hospital she became a clinical nurse at The Northern Pulp Mill, Abercrombie.

Heather was a loving wife and mother who especially enjoyed her grandchildren.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, David; sons, Allan (Tracey), Metropolis, Illinois; Brian (Kate), Peterborough, Ont. and grandchildren, Maria and Haley; Brenden, Ethan and Owen. She is also survived by her sisters, Beth King, Oshawa and Vivian (Bob) Boehk, Stellarton; brother Forbes (Shirley) Rae, Amherst; and aunt Lina Forbes, Scotsburn.

Cremation has taken place. Her family will receive visitors on Monday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Her funeral service will be held 2 o'clock Tuesday at Bethel Presbyterian Church, Scotsburn with Rev. Lara Scholey officiating. Interment will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens.

Donations in Heather's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Nova Scotia heart and Stoke Foundation.
