His siblings were Victor Marton Stodt Sr. (1910-1979), Leo Francis Stodt (1912-2005), Chester Frank Stodt (1922-1927), Mary Stodt (1918-1918), Crystal Maryann "Chris" (Stodt) Stoykovich, and Berniece Agnes "Mary" (Stodt) McCoy (1931-2008).

He is survived by his wife; one step-daughter, Susan Leland of West Burlington (sic: Marion, Iowa); one step-son, Robert Herman of Albuquerque, New Mexico; a brother, Leo Stodt of West Burlington; two sisters, Mrs. Bernice McCoy of Hampton, and Mrs. Crystal Stoykovich of Lynnwood, California, two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday in Lunning Chapel and will be followed by family visitation.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Reverend Louis Mulligan officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
