Ronald K. Mumper, 76, of New Germantown passed away on Friday at his home.

Ron was born August 22, 1936 at New Germantown to the late William and Pauline (Gring) Mumper. He was preceded in death by four siblings. He was an Air Force Veteran and received the Good Conduct Medal.
He was retired from the Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg and had been employed by Lowes, Mechanicsburg and a custodian for the West Perry School District.

He was a former Toboyne Township Secretary. He was a member of the New Germantown United Methodist Church and American Legion Post 232, Dry Run. He enjoyed hunting; bear camp and listening to his wife sing with the band.

Surviving are his wife of 51 years of marriage, Lois I. (Lowery) Mumper; four children: Dorothy Irene Colony, Hollidaysburg; Ronald Kerry Mumper, Jr. and Rhonda Kelly Swanger, both of New Germantown; Randy Keith Mumper, Shermans Dale; a sister, Wanda Reisinger, Liverpool; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family in the Nickel Funeral Home, 3626 Shermans Valley Road, Loysville, Pa. 17047 with Rev. Robert V. Bishard officiating. Private burial with military honors by American Legion Post 232 will be in the Blain Cemetery.
