Betty Sue (Dot) Woodham, 81, of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Chautauqua Rehab & Nursing in DeFuniak Springs. She was born April 12, 1931 in Bonifay, Florida to the late Harvey Pitts and Verdie (Everett) Pitts. Mrs. Woodham was a resident of DeFuniak Springs since 1981 coming from Chipley, Florida and was a homemaker.
Mrs. Woodham was predeceased by two sisters; Ruby Bethel and Lola Kryder.
She is survived by three sons; Ronnie Woodham and wife Beverly of Chipley, Florida, Donnie Woodham and wife Ellen of Clifton, N.J., Dennis Woodham and wife Wanda of Panama City, Florida, one daughter; Sissy Hampton and husband Don of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, November 7, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Brown Funeral Home, Brickyard Road Chapel. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Shiloh Baptist Church of Chipley, Florida with Reverend Tim Patton officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery with Brown Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
