Mr. Albert Morris Garner, 73, of Pulaski died May 6, 2011, at Ardmore on Main, Ardmore, Tenn. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans for 37 years, serving as state commander for 1981 and 1982, and was a member of American Legion Post 60. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mertie Lee and Clara Jacobs Garner; brother Jerry Lee Garner; and two great-grandsons, Thomas Landon Fralix and Caycen Ray Fralix. Funeral services were held May 9 in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Mark Johnson officiating. Burial was in Giles Memory Gardens. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Lillian Glasco Garner of Pulaski; daughters, Diane Hyde and husband Fred and Serita Fralix, all of Pulaski; sisters, Ruby Walls of Pulaski, Clara Miller of Cincinnati, Ohio, Joyce Smith of Boaz, Ala., Frances Ann Hendricks, Linda Jones, both of Prospect; brothers, Robert Garner of Minor Hill, John M. Garner of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Thomas W. Garner of the Rose Hill community; grandchildren, Caitlin Turner, Will Fralix, Jim Fralix and Ryan Hyde; and two great-grandchildren.
