Funeral services for Eli E. Power, 32, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter E. Power of 21 Evans road, who died at Maine General Hospital on Sunday, Feb. 27, after a short illness, were held Wednesday afternoon from the Eustis funeral home.

A graduate of Marblehead High School, class of 1934, he attended Kents Hill academy and was graduated from the University of Maine in 1940. Mr. Power was a veteran of World War II, serving in the European Theatre with the 31st Troop Carrier squadron.

He was a member of Hiram Lodge, A.F. & A.M., of South Portland, the American Legion, the Portland Toastmasters' Club, the Purpondock Club, the Portland Investment Dealers' Association and the Williston Church Men's Club.

In addition to his wife, the former Augusta Timberlake, and his parents, Mr. Power leaves three children, Patricia, Pamela and Andrea; five sisters, Mrs. Parker B. Haskell, Mrs. Gordon E. Peach, Miss Edith K. Power, Mrs. John A. Davis, Mrs. N. John Kiernan; three brothers, Harold H. Power, Walter B. Power, Jr., Louis R. Power.
