Mrs. Hofman was a farmer her whole life, she farmed with her parents then her husband. They owned and operated Hofman Peat Company, Imlay City, for years. Gail also enjoyed gardening and was a real cat lover. She will be dearly missed by her family.
Gail is survived by her husband of nearly 48 years: John R. Hofman, children: Anne (Bill) Mull of Oxford, Mark Hofman of Romeo, and Sandra (Dave) Kingston of Saline, grandchildren: Katie, William, Caroline, Bradley and great-grandson: Trevor. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be 2-5pm Monday and 2-6pm Tuesday. A funeral service 2:00pm Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer, officiated by Rev. Robert Lilley. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Lapeer.
