Burt and Emily were born pioneer Mormon families from Salt Lake City. Burt moved to Calif to work on WPA projects during the depression but he soon became a huckster with a vegetable delivery route. He delivered fruit and vegetables in an old Mack truck. He died at his home at 7621 1/2 Santa Monta Blvd from a heart attack. He was married to Emily Seaman on 29 June 1918.
