MUNCIE--Donald E. Harrold, of Bridgewater, VA, formerly of Muncie, died suddenly Sunday morning, November 16, 2003.
He was born Mary 9, 1918 in Muncie, IN, where he and his family resided for 45 years. He was owner and operator of Lincoln Press for 25 years. He then moved to Pompono Beach, FL, where he worked for 3M. In the spring of 2000, he relocated to Bridgewater, VA.
Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Mary F. Greene Harrold; daughter, Nancy; son, Jim; and sister, Mary Louise Neff.
Mr. Harrold was preceded in death by his son, John F. Harrold; son-in-law, Robert Wendel; and brother, Jim Harrold.
Funeral services will be at Elm Ridge Mausoleum in Muncie on Thursday, November 20, 2003 at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1 to 1:45 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice. Johnson Funeral Service, Bridgewater, VA, is handling arrangements.
