CHARD ABBOTT Richard Henry Abbott, an executive of the Southeastern Light and Power Company of New York City, died yesterday at his home, 197 Park Hill Avenue, after an Illness of two weeks. Death resulted from cerebral hemorrhage. Mr. Abbott had been president of the Abbott Hardware Company for years bat resigned about three years ago to become associated with the utility organization. A son of the late Henry Judd and Martha J. Abbott, he was born in Center Brunswick, Rensselaer County, N. Y., spent his early youth there and was educated in Troy, where he lived until 85 years ago, when he came to Yonkers. He waa active in Masonic circles and was a member of Chancellor Walworth Lodge, F. and A. M.„ New York City. In addition he held membership in Mecca Temple and the Park Hill Community Club. He is survived by his widow, the former Anna D. Riddle; a brother, Ira Wlllard Abbott of Troy and a sister, Mrs. Carrie Van Zandt of Troy. The Rev. Dr. Wendell P. Keeler, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, will officiate at funeral services tomorrow at 8:30 P. M. at the home. Interment will be Wednesday in Oakwood Cemetery, Troy.
