J. R. Waggoner Dead.
J. R. Waggoner died very suddenly at the home of Joe Cotton, near Oneonta. He had been in ill health for some time, but was able to be up. It is said that he had a congestive chill Tuesday morning and died before medical aid could be summoned. Mr. Waggoner was about 61 years of age and had been living near Oneonta for several years. The deceased is survived by four sons, Dr. Waggoner and Maurice Waggoner of Detroit, and Arthur Waggoner and Ray Waggoner of Birmingham; two daughters Katheryn and Margaret Waggoner of Oneonta. Arthur and Maurice formerly operated a drug store in Oneonta. The funeral services are to be held in Birmingham.
