Maude Brookman
Mrs. Maude Brookman, 91 of Clarinda died shortly after arrival at Municipal Hospital Friday night, December 13, 1991.
She was born October 13, 1900, at Gravity, the daughter of J. [ohn] W. [illiam] and Minnie Livingston McFarland. She was married to Bill Brookman on March 21, 1917. He preceded her in death October 31, 1982. Mrs. Brookman had lived in Clarinda since 1944. She had worked at J.C. Penney's before her retirement.
Survivors include a daughter Mrs. Charles (Betty) King, McAllen, TX one grandson and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 Friday, December 20, at Walker-Merrick Funeral Home with burial In the Washington Cemetery at Gravity.
