The son of Adam and Friedericka Schneider Eisenbraun he was born in Friedental, Simferopal, Russia. Siblings are Petros Jacob, Maria, Adelheid Katharina, Adelaide, Adolph, and Heinrich Jakob. Married to Matilda Fauth while still in Russia they came to the United States with two small children and continued to raise their family in the Dakotas and finally settling in Yellowstone County, Montana. The children are Rosina, Peter J, Christina, Albert John Albert, Emma Fredricka, Magdalena Mathilda, Maria Christina, Adolph Jacob, Emmanuel Fredebert and Otellia Margaret.
