Ruth M. Bonde, age 91, of 2452 S. 18th Street, Manitowoc, died Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc.

She was born on July 13, 1921 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Michael and Margaret (Zink) Jagodinsky. Ruth was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School, Class of 1939. On November 13, 1943 she married Vernon Bonde at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on December 9, 2000. Ruth was a stay at home mom who raised her five children. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Clare Society and the Civil War Round Table Discussion Group. Ruth enjoyed collecting bells and butterflies and also going to gun shows and flea markets.

Survivors include her children: Beverly & Bob Aulik, Fort Atkinson, Paul & Barb Bonde, Oak Creek, Barbara Bonde-Hochkammer and her significant other, Bernie Wazny, Manitowoc, Mark Bonde & Judy Rose, Cocoa, Florida, Keith & Patty Bonde, Manitowoc; her grandchildren: Maria & Dorian Kruse, Michelle & James Springer, Nicole & Ron Wells, Jason Bonde and special friend Carey Van Den Busch, Heather & Doug Sutherland, Kim & Scott Reel, Megan & Sean Carrigan; great grandchildren: Tanna, Aaron, Matthew, Emma, Allison, Austin, James (AJ), Aidan, Addison, Nathan & Tyler; a sister: Shirley Pech; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Reuben Gass, Kenneth & Marie Bonde, Orville & Bernice Bonde, Ralph Bonde, Allen & Maria Bonde; special friends: Jeff & Brennan Hyler; and her granddogs: Scooter, Sassy & Josey. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by two sisters: Jane Gass, Marie Adcock; brothers-in-law: Lester Pech, Milton Mueller; a sister-in-law: Edith Mueller; two nephews: Tom Pech, Jeff Adcock and her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Nick & Linda Bonde.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 3, 2012 at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Richard Klingeisen with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

The family will greet relatives and friends at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, December 2, 2012. A prayer service will be held at 5:30 p.m. The family will also greet relatives and friends on Monday morning at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand, Manitowoc, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
