Mrs. Elizabeth Jane (Jennie) McDonald, 77, widow of Thomas David McDonald, died in her home at Morrisville at 9:40 p.m. Monday, April 20. She had been in poor health for the past year and seriously ill for the past three months.

A daughter of the late John and Margaret Zimmerman Knox, Mrs. McDonald was born Oct. 20, 1875 at Graysville. She had resided most of her life in Morrisville and was a member of the Morrisville Methodist Church.

Her husband, whom she married April 27, 1893, preceded her in death on Dec. 4, 1937.

Surviving are three sons, George T., John K. and Robert M. McDonald, all of Morrisville; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. George W. Allison of the Mt. Morris Star Route.
