OBITUARY :
MILDRED I. WILHIDE, 91, of Edgemont Road, Smithsburg, died Saturday, Dec. 18, 2004, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Aug. 21, 1913, at Smithsburg, she was the daughter of the late George Cleveland and Carri Belle Ott Hahn.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Fred F. Barkdoll, Nov. 6, 1962 and by her second husband, Martin T. Wilhide, March 23, 1973.
She was employed at Camp Louise in Cascade, Md.
She was a member of Blue Mountain Church of God, Smithsburg, Ladies Bible Class and CYWM.
She is survived by three sisters, Kathleen L. Minnick, Naomi B. Shifflett and Ileene G. Barkdoll, all of Smithsburg; one brother, Eugene E. Hahn of Waynesboro; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Hilda T. Beam and Marie L. Thompson; two brothers, Norvin G. Hahn and William E. Hahn.
Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, 12525 Bradbury Ave., Smithsburg, with Pastor Mary E. Crampton officiating.
Burial will be in Harbaugh Church Cemetery, Rouzerville, Pa.
Family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Blue Mountain Church of God, 14233 Edgemont Road, Smithsburg, MD 21783.
