BALDWYN – Isabel "Izzie" Mears Green 92, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born Nov. 25, 1920, to Boyd and Nora Strickland Mears. She was a homemaker, a member of Grace Baptist Church and a Sunday school teacher for many years.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Waters Funeral Home with Bro. Neal Murphy and Bro. Toby Mears officiating. Burial will be in the Pratts Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Robert "Bob" Green of Baldwyn; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jerry Mears, Luther Mears, Carl Mears, Guy Mears, Earl Mears and Elbert "Monk" Mears; and sisters, Lizzie Felks and Maudine Felks.
Visitation will be from noon to service time Wednesday at Waters Funeral
