Born in Scotia, Nebraska on April 5th, 1928 to Rollie and Martha (Hermsmeyer) Yost. Elaine loved the color purple, gardening and flowers, but especially spending time with her family. After retiring from Outboard Marine, she also spent much of her free time volunteering for the visually handicapped. Most importantly, Elaine was a woman of faith in God. Purple always made her smile, so please feel free to wear it to her service.
