She was converted and united with the Baptist church in 1879. Though a great sufferer from such a complication of diseases as baffled all efforts of relief. She was patient and resigned giving evidence in her lucid moments that her mind was stayed on God singing searches of hymns about the glory beyond and saying near the one God knows best God knows best.
The funeral was held Sunday afternoon from the Baptist church Rev. S. H. Mitchell officiating and preaching in the theme the sympathy of Christ with bereaved humanly and his power over death founded upon the story of his weeping over Lazarus.
