Murdock R. Glennon, of Chelsea, MA, died Friday, December 7, 2012 at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston following an illness. Born in Chelsea, he was the son of the late William and Ann-Marie (Gorman) Glennon. He served in the US Army and the Air Force, retiring honorably in 1975. He was proud of his military service and the experiences it provided him, most notably in Okinawa, Alaska and Germany. Following his retirement he was employed as the manager of Aubuchon Hardware, Sudbury, MA until 1986. He is survived by his former wife and best friend Marina Glennon of Marlborough: his son Daniel Glennon and his wife Dr. Pamela Glennon of Wisconsin and his daughter Susan Glennon of Marlborough: his grandchildren Catherine, Andrew and Thomas, his siblings Dorothy Roloff of Keane, NH, William Glennon of Amherst, NH, Mary Casucci of Chelsea, Catherine Pascarelli of Quincy and Thomas Glennon of Cape Cod and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Dennis and Walter Glennon. A memorial service will be scheduled for early January , followed in the spring with burial at the National Cemetery, Bourne, MA.
