Corran Bennett of NY aft 1865. He and his family arrived Chicago, IL, after 1870.For many years, Fletcher Hope and son, John Grant Hope, owned and operated Fletcher Hope & Son Paint & Decorating Business on Cottage Grove Ave., Chicago.
At the age of 91,residing on Dorchester Ave., Fletcher Hope, a widower, died 9 June 1918 "from a fall down the stairs". He was buried 11 June 1918 Oak Woods Cemetery, Chicago.
