Isaac Prugh, the veteran undertaker and one of the oldest and best respected citizens of Burlington, Ia., passed away at his home in that city. He was the owner of a fine farm near Lomax and was well known to a large number of Henderson County people.
Isaac Prugh & Son funeral home was first located at 314 N. 4th, Burlington, Iowa.
In August of 1852 Mr. Isaac Prugh began the family business
as a manufacturer of fine furniture, coffins, and cabinetry.
It has been passed down through the family and they are still
in business as of 2018.
