James Edward Bible

James Edward Bible, 81, of Morristown, went to receive his final rewards to be with our Lord and Savior from Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System Thursday, Jan. 12, 2006.

He was a member of Cedar Hill Church of God and a veteran of World War II.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nevy R. Bible and Winnie Mae Taylor Bible.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Helen R. Long Bible; children and their spouses, Steve and Joan Bible of Morristown, Pam and Jerry Malone of Morristown, and Tina and Marty Worthington of Russellville; grandchildren, Misty Bogle, James Adam Bible, Joshua Bible, Traci Payne, Bradley Bible, Machela Worthington, Elliott Worthington, Carrie Malone, and Melissa Cremins; great-grandchildren, Dylann Bogle, Jayden Bogle, Shania Bible, April Bible, Little James, and Destiny Payne; sisters and brother-in-law, Kate Dunsmore of Dayton, Myrtle Wright of Morristown, and Georgia and Rocky Baglio of Morristown; sisters-inlaw and brothers-in-law, Agnes Hill, Cindy and Bill Helton, James and Carol Long, and Arnold Long.

Funeral services were Saturday at Westside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Sam Youngblood and the Rev. William Gardner officiating. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15 at Hamblen Memory Gardens. The family received friends Saturday at the funeral home prior to the services. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be sent to ALPS, 600 N. Daisy St., Morristown, TN 37814. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
