Death of Mr. Samuel Brice
We are pained to chronicle the death of this good man, which sad event had occured on the 7th instant at his home near Harrell's X Roads. He was at church on Sabbath in his usual good health, and by noon on Monday was a corpse. It is supposed he died of some affleiction of the heart. Mr. Brice was a good citizen, a devoted christian, a most excellent man in every sphere of life, and though in his seventy-fifth year, still he was active, energetic, public spirited and full of life and humor. We mourn the loss of such a character.
