Rites Set Monday For Paul M. Allen
Funeral services for Paul M. Allen, 48, former Wichitan who died Friday in Needles, Calif., will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Downing mortuary chapel. Rev. W. E. McCoy, of Calvary Methodist church, will officiate. Burial will be in Wichita Park cemetery.
Mr. Allen was born Nov. 13, 1902, in Oklahoma, and was employed as a Santa Fe railroad engineer. He moved from Wichita to Needles eight years ago. He served in the army during World War II, and was a member of the Christian church and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Engineers.
Surviving are his wife, Wanda; a daughter, Miss Mary Joyce Allen, of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Louella Ketchel, Whittier, Calif., and Mrs. Lucille Brown, 712 North Emporia; four brothers, George Allen, 2010 North Broadway, H. R. Allen, 634 South Vine, Jesse Allen and Gerald Allen, both of route 3; and a half-brother, Floyd Telfer, Staton, Tex.
