Nello Bonicelli 84, of Idaho Falls died at his home due to medical complications on April 20, 2010.

He was born August 5, 1925 at Kemmerer, Wyoming; the son of Severino & Amabala Guvenari Bonicelli. He spend his early years in Kemmerer Wyoming where he graduated at the age of sixteen, and the joined the Navy as a Radio Operator during WWII. After returning home he went to the University of Utah where he received an electrical engineering degree.

He married Helen Zane Layland on September 25, 1947 in Richmond California. They lived in Salt Lake City Utah; Cheyenne and Casper Wyoming; Endicott and Binganham New York where he worked for the General Electric Company and then moved to Idaho Falls Idaho in 1955. In 1965 they moved to Santa Maria California, where he worked for the Vanderburg Airforce Base under General Electric. Then finally moved back to Idaho Falls Idaho in 1967 to work for the Department of Energy until he retired in 1989, and lived out the rest of his life in Idaho Falls.

He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church as well a member of the N.A.R.F.E and the American Legion. His hobbies and interests included: golf, bowling, and spending time with his family. He was an incredible man who loved his family and friends most dearly, and always lended a helping hand to anyone in need without any expectations. He will be missed greatly by all! He is survived by: daughter: Linda Bonicelli of Idaho Falls; daughter: Debbie (Rock) Thomas of Boise, Idaho; daughter: Christine Hawk of Boise, Idaho; granddaughter: Courtney Bonicelli of Idaho Falls; granddaughter: Mallory Hawk of Boise, Idaho; granddaughter: Kelsey Hawk of Boise, Idaho; grandson: Mitch Hawk of Boise, Idaho.

He was preceded in death by his wife Helen Bonicelli, his parents, two brothers, and sister.
