Mrs. Margaret Kehs, widow of the late David Kehs, died Monday night at the home of her son, James Kehs, 33 West Walnut street, Bethlehem, aged 73 years, 8 months. The funeral will be held Saturday. High mass will be sung at the Holy Ghost church at 9 a.m. Interment will be made in the Holy Ghost cemetery. Deceased was born in Vera Cruz, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Valentine Miller, and is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mahlon Lee, Bethlehem; four sons, James, Raymond, Harvey and Charles, Bethlehem; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Miller, this city; Mrs. Catherine Hafley, Catasauqua; and two brothers, John Miller, Bethlehem, and Jacob Miller, Quakertown.
The burial location for David and Margaret Kehs cannot be determined at Holy Ghost.
There are two contenders: one is the white marker with metal name plates removed, located in the southwestern corner Kehs family plot, where their extended family is. Or, more likely, they are buried in the northeastern corner Kehs family plot, where their son and grandson are buried. There is an unmarked grave immediately next to them.
