Eleanore M. Cegielski, age 92, of 1127 S. 15 St., Manitowoc, died on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009, at River's Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Eleanore was born on Jan. 11, 1917, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Michael and Mathilda (Weina) Michalek.
She married Elmer Cegielski in Valders in 1955. He preceded her in death in 1978.
She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Valders. Eleanore enjoyed gardening and shopping.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009, at the Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 1122 S. 8th St., Manitowoc. The Rev. Jim Rasmus will officiate, with burial at Gjerpen Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
