FRANCES CHRISTENSEN
Mrs. Christ Christensen, 88, lifelong resident of the county, died Sunday morning at the farm home of her son, Charles, in Cato.
Mrs. Christensen, nee Frances Nate, was born in Franklin in 1857 and was married to Mr. Christensen 62 years ago. Her husband preceded her in death 18 years ago.
Survivors are a son, Charles, on the home farm; daughter, Mrs. Minnie Mahnke, of Chicago; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Berge funeral home, Valders, and at 3 o'clock at the Gjerpen Lutheran church. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. The body may be viewed at the funeral home until the hour of services.
