He was born September 29, 1936 in Palestine to Tony and Verna Huggins Dressell. Mr. Dressell was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was the owner and operator of Hardin Oil Company. He graduated from Sam Houston State University where he played on the football team. Mr. Dressell was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Barbara Melton, and brothers, Donald Dressell and Paul Dressell. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Jan Hardin Dressell of Palestine; daughter, Mendy Dressell Wright and husband Lyle and children, Garrett and Brooke of Liberty Hill; sons, Tony Wayne Dressell and wife Liz and children Draydon, Landon, and Brendan of Grapevine, Robert Hardin Dressell and wife Christy and children Abby and Will of Tyler; and sister, Joe Ella Hackett of Palestine.
