Served twenty-five years in Marine Corps, and was part of the presidential honor guard; then worked for the Department of Defense from where he retired. 61 year Master Mason in Xenia Lodge Number 49, Scottish Rite 32 degree. Married Dorothy Hathaway February 1932 in Washington, DC. He was father to Harold, Jr., Adah, Frances, Michaele, and Patricia. He was Grandpa to 13 grandchildren, 7 great-grand children and 1 great-great grandson. I miss Grandpa terribly; he was the best man I ever met.
