"Charles R. Adkisson, 65, of Las Vegas, passed away Thursday, Jan. 13, 2005. He was born April 15, 1939, in Glasgow, Mont., and resided in Las Vegas for 40 years. Charles had a great love for the outdoors and had an entrepeneurial [entrepreneurial] spirit. He was a lover of the old west. He was preceded in death by his son, David Adkisson. Charles is survived by his sons, Charles M. Adkisson and Jonathan Adkisson; stepsons [step-sons], Richard Rieckmann and Dustin Rieckmann; and best friend, Frances Cox, all of Las Vegas. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19. Service will be at noon Thursday, Jan. 20, both at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Interment will follow at Palm Valley View Cemetery. Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society."
